Welcome to Fordyce!

"Fordyce.......a little piece of paradise"

The village of Fordyce is located in Northeast Nebraska, approximately
13.5 miles South of Yankton, SD and 50 miles West of Sioux City, IA.
Nestled in the northern part of Cedar County, Fordyce sports a population
of 159. And if you ask the residents here, they will say
"There is no better place to live."

Fordyce's most notable locations are the Fordyce Farmers Non-Stock
Cooperative Elevator and the local Fire Hall. There is one church in town,
the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and West Catholic Elementary School.

The village has a local public park and ball field making it a great
location for families. Because of its relatively short distance to Yankton, SD,
Fordyce makes for a perfect community for those wanting to live in a
small town, but commute to a larger one for work.
